He later managed to bring his wife and children with him from Italy to Luxembourg and stayed there since then.
As I said, he's been working hard, eating hard, drinking hard, smoking hard and got really sick since last year.
I did not have a good relationship to him and I genuinly think that it's a relief for him given the accumulation of health problems but it's always painful when a member of your family goes away. I cannot ignore the fact that despite all that has gone wrong in our relation, he truly contributed to the shaping of my situation today by living the life he has lived.
It's strange how we like to think that we are the architects of our own lives when, from many points of view, we are probably just the product of our ancestors decisions.
